(By G.R.Swaminathan, J.) Heard both sides.
2. The second respondent issued notice under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 on 10.09.2026. The petitioner submitted his objections on 09.09.2026 and again on 24.09.2026. This writ petition has been filed for directing the second respondent to consider his objections before taking further action.
3. In our view, the very filing of this writ petition was wholly unnecessary. The statute prescribes a certain procedure. When notice under Section 7 of the Act is issued and objections are received, the authority is obliged to consider the same before passing final order under Section 6 of the Act.
