ORDER

The petitioner is an employee of the State Government covered under the New Health Insurance Scheme. He had taken an approved treatment in a non- network hospital. Therefore, the petitioner was not provided cashless treatment and his request for medical reimbursement was also denied. Subsequently, the petitioner approached the District Level Empowered Committee. The District Level Empowered Committee has also recommended reimbursement of the medical expenses to the tune of Rs.1,65,000/-. Not satisfied with the same, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to reimburse the medical expenses incurred by him. __________
