ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondents to disburse 100% of the family pension to the petitioner, along with all arrears from 12.02.2013, which was stopped by the second respondent on the date of the marriage of the first wife's daughter, till the date of disposal of the present Writ Petition.

2. There is no representation for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent.

3. The present Writ Petition is of the year 2022. After admission, this is the first time that the matter is being listed again. Though a Mandamus has been sought for, considering the nature of the claim, it is seen that the petitioner had already submitted a representation dated 14.10.2020 to the second respondent and the said representation is still pending consideration.

4. In such view of the circumstances, without going into the merits of the present Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.10.2020 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

WP No. 16321 of 2022

5. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs. 01-10-2026 Index: Yes Speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes KV To
