ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission to conduct an Adal Padal program on the occasion of the Temple Festival scheduled to be held on 04.10.2026, based on the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2026.

2. Mr.D.Rajaboopathy, learned Government Advocate, (Crl. Side) takes notice for the respondents. Heard the counsel on either side and perused the records.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petitioner's initial representation dated 18.09.2026 was received by the respondents on 19.09.2026, and upon consideration, the same was rejected. The rejection order was duly served on and received by the petitioner on 21.09.2026.

4. However, the petitioner has now approached this Court by filing the present petition based on a subsequent representation dated 22.09.2026.

WP Crl.(MD) No. 5494 of 2026

5. Upon putting this to the notice of the learned counsel for the petitioner, it is noted that the first representation was already rejected by the first respondent. Once a representation for the same cause of action and seeking the same relief has been rejected, repeated representations for the very same purpose cannot be entertained or permitted to be sent.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed, with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies against the rejection order passed by the respondent in the manner known to law. 01-10-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No TM To
