ORDER

The present petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent no.3 to consider the petitioners representation dated 12.09.2026 and conduct enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner under monitoring of 2nd respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that jurisdiction police is the Edamalaipatti Pudur Police Station. However, there is no respondent arrayed in this petition corresponding to the Edamalaipatti Pudur / Kadamalaikundu Police Station.

3. The postal receipt produced by the petitioner discloses that the communication was dispatched to the Edamalaipatti Pudur Police Station, which reflects an erroneous understanding on the part of both the petitioner and the learned Counsel who drafted this petition, as no such police station has been impleaded as a party respondent herein. During the course of arguments, the learned Counsel for the petitioner took a complete U-turn and submitted that the representation was instead dispatched to the Commissioner of Police, Madurai. In view of the fact that the relevant police station to which the representation was purportedly

sent is not impleaded as a party respondent to these proceedings, no effective direction can be issued. Consequently, this petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to submit a fresh, appropriate representation to the competent authority and seek remedies in accordance with the law, if so advised. 01-10-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No TM To
