ORDER

This contempt petition arises out of the order dated 08.10.2025 made in W.P.(MD)No.27812 of 2025. The petitioner herein filed the said writ petition questioning the enquiry notice dated 22.09.2025 issued by the Tahsildar, Manamelkudi Taluk. The said enquiry notice was quashed by me vide order dated 08.10.2025. The matter was entrusted to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Aranthangi Taluk. I had to do so because the petitioner had lost trust in the then Tahsildar, Manamelkudi Taluk. He was directed to place all the relevant materials gathered by him before the RDO. The RDO was to decide the issue on merits. Unfortunately, the order passed by me was not properly understood. The RDO assigned the task of inspectioin to the then Tahsildar, Manamelkudi. Though he was asked to dissociate by this Court, he took part in the inspection. I, however, take a lenient view because he did so under direction of the RDO. There were also law and order issues. It is seen that the subsequent order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Aranthangi on 22.07.2026 was also interfered with by the learned single Judge vide order dated 03.09.2026 in W.P.(MD)No.25356 of 2026.
