ORDER

This Criminal Revision Case challenges the order dated 07.07.2026 passed in C.M.P.No.11 of 2026 in M.C.No.17 of 2025, directing the petitioner

CRL RC No. 2211 of 2026

to pay an interim monthly maintenance of Rs.10,000/- to the respondents, till the disposal of the main petition.

2. According to the petitioner, his net salary is only Rs.12,000/- per month and the learned Judge, without taking into consideration this fact, awarded a sum of Rs.10,000/- to the respondents and that in any case, the respondents are not entitled to maintenance since the first respondent left the matrimonial home without any sufficient cause.

3. From the impugned order, it is seen that the first respondent had stated that she had sufficient cause for leaving the matrimonial home. The learned Judge found that the gross pay of the petitioner is Rs.36,103/- and on that bases, quantified the interim maintenance at Rs.10,000/- payable to both the respondents.

4. This Court finds no infirmity whatsoever in the impugned order dated 07.07.2026 passed by the learned District Judge, Family Court, Tiruvallur, in C.M.P.No.11 of 2026 in M.C.No.17 of 2025. Hence, the petitioner shall continue to pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- to both the respondents every month, pending disposal of the main maintenance case. The learned District Judge, Family Court, Tiruvallur, is directed to expedite the trial and dispose of M.C.No.17 of 2025 on merits and in accordance with law.
