JUDGMENT
(Judgment of the Court was delivered by P.Velmurugan J.) The appellant filed this appeal seeking to set aside the order dated 10.07.2026 passed in the Review Application in Rev.Appl.No.11 of 2025 in A.No.606 of 2023.
The order sought to be reviewed was passed on 06.03.2025 after the expiry of the lease period i.e. on 31.12.2022. The Court exercising discretionary power permitted the erstwhile tenant to pay the enhanced rent.
This Court, while the Original Side Appeal came up for admission, vide order dated 24.08.2026 directed the appellant to deposit the arrears of the enhanced amount on or before 15.09.2026.
Today, when the matter is called for hearing, the learned counsel for the appellant submitted that they have deposited the amount as ordered by this Court.
Mr.C.K.Chandrasekar for AG & OT submitted that the appellant has not deposited the amount as ordered by this Court on 24.08.2026 and they made the calculation as per their wish and not as ordered by the Court.
