The learned Standing Counsel for Lakshadweep Administration placed before us the order of the Lakshadweep Administration, Directorate of Port, Shipping & Aviation dated 14.07.2026 which indicates that the consequent to pay revision, the pay was fixed and accordingly pension has also been re-fixed. It is submitted by the learned Counsel for the applicant that gratuity arrears and the comutted value of pension have been paid. However, it seems that arrears of pension has not been paid. Accordingly, the learned Standing Counsel for Lakshadweep Administration is directed to file a statement evidencing the amount due including differential pension with interest and the amount paid, as mentioned in the order. Post on 17.11.2026.
