(Common order) Heard both the learned SPC in both O.As. It is submitted by the learned SPC that the order has been implemented and a sum of Rs. 4,82,836/- has been paid to the applicant in O.A No. 526/2018 for the period from 01.07.2017 to 11.10.2023. In relation to the applicant in O.A No. 141/2018, the learned SPC submitted that a sum of Rs. 2,23,687/- has been paid covering the period from 01.03.2018 to 11.10.2018. The learned SPC submitted that it will cover the entire amount due to the applicants. However, our attention has been drawn to the affidavit dated 12.03.2025 filed by the respondents in both cases, which indicates that the retirement benefits were released from 27.11.2024 and interest at 7.1% was paid on 14.05.2025. Accordingly, as submitted by the learned Counsel for the applicants, the interest has to be calculated up to 27.11.2024. The learned SPC seeks time to verify regarding the payments made.
