ORDER

The petitioner, a retired Teacher, submitted a representation dated 15.06.2026 to the respondents, seeking incentive increment due to him for acquiring the additional qualification of M.A., (History) and M.Ed. He has also filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider his representation and provide the incentive increment due to him.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader submits that the petitioner is not entitled for any incentive increment and as per the policy, he is eligible for a lump-sum amount. For the purpose of providing the lump-sum amount, a proposal has to be sent by the Management. He further submits that necessary proposal has to be received from the Management, based on which, they would take a decision regarding payment of the lump-sum amount to the petitioner.
