ORDER

The order impugned in this revision is dated 16.07.2026 by which the first respondent had directed the petitioner as well as “B” party (respondents 3 to 6) not to act in a manner prejudicial to the maintenance of law and order.

( Uploaded on: 05/10/2026 01:53:12 pm )

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the impugned order was passed without any notice to him since the address of the petitioner was shown as No.4/42, 6th Avenue, Ashok nagar, Chennai Vallagundapuram, Udumalpettai and the notice was attempted to be sent to Udumalpettai and that therefore, without hearing the petitioner, the impugned order was passed.

3. The petitioner is justified to the extent of stating that the impugned order was passed without any notice to him. However, this Court is of the view that the impugned order is innocuous in as much as it states that both A & B parties shall not act in any manner prejudicial to the maintenance of law and order. The impugned order has not decided on the rights of the parties. Therefore, no interference is called for in the impugned order. However, the impugned order would not have any bearing on the claims of the parties before any other forum.

4. With the above observations, the criminal revision case stands dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 29-09-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No NR/NM
