ORDER
(By G.R.Swaminathan, J.) Heard both sides.
2. The marriage between Subramani and Tamilselvi was solemnized on 05.09.2016 at Thiruparankundram as per Hindu rites and customs. There are no surviving issues through the wedlock. Their marital relationship came under strain. Subramani filed H.M.O.P.No.4 of 2018 on the file of Family Court, Srivilliputhur for divorce. The HMOP was dismissed. Challenging the same, Subramani filed C.M.A.(MD)No.864 of 2021. It was dismissed by this Bench on 17.09.2026.
3. This criminal revision case arises out of the DV proceedings initiated by Tamilselvi. The Court below had granted three reliefs,

Crl.R.C.(MD)No.527 of 2026 namely, residential order, protection order and maintenance order. The maintenance is to the tune of Rs.10,000/- per month.
4. The learned counsel for the revision petitioners submitted that this Court may confirm the order of the Court below if Tamilselvi withdraws the criminal prosecution initiated against all of them.
5. Tamilselvi is present in person. She is also assisted by her legal aid counsel. She is agreeable to the offer made by the revision petitioners. She states that she will not press the criminal prosecution and that she has no objection if this Court, in exercise of its inherent powers under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, quashes the criminal prosecution. She has also made an endorsement to that effect.
6. In view of the same, we confirm the order impugned in this criminal revision case. Since Tamilselvi has agreed to give up the criminal prosecution, C.C.No.84 of 2023 on the file of Additional Mahila Court, Srivilliputhur stands quashed.
