ORDER
Mr.D.Rajaboopathy, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) takes notice for the respondents. Heard the counsel on either side.
2. The present writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order passed by the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No. 6/Ka.Aa./Ma.U.Ko/Siva/2026 dated 05.9.2026 and Quash the same and further direct the respondents to give permission for the Rekla Race on 04.10.2026 following Kumbabishekam conducted at Arul Migu Kottai Muniswarar, Arulmigu Pandi Eeswarar Temple on 13.09.2026.
3. The reason cited for the rejection was that since the Immanuel Sekaran Memorial Procession was scheduled to be take place on 11.09.2026, taking note of the potential law and order issues, requiring significant police bandobast, the requested permission was denied.
4. Today, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner now proposes to conduct the Rekla race on 04.10.2026. It is submitted that the petitioner is willing to file a fresh representation specifying the revised __________

WP Crl.(MD) No. 5414 of 2026 date and complying with all necessary conditions, including obtaining No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from the concerned authorities.
5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that if such a fresh representation is submitted by the petitioner, the 3rd Respondent will consider the same.
6. In view of the above, the impugned order passed by the 3rd Respondent is set aside. The petitioner is directed to file a fresh representation before the 3rd Respondent forthwith. Upon receipt of such representation, the 3rd Respondent shall consider the same in positive manner and pass suitable orders at the earliest, before the event date i.e., on 04.10.2026.
