ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by P.Velmurugan J.) This Writ Petition is filed seeking to quash the impugned notice dated 02.09.2026 issued by the third responder under Section 7 of the Tamilnadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 (in short "the Act"). 2 It is the grievance of the writ petitioner that the subject land is patta land owned by the writ petitioners and hence the provisions of the Act would not be applicable to the petitioners' land. 3 Mr.B.Sivakollappan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that there was an error in the extent of the land mentioned in the impugned notice issued under Section 7 of the Act and hence the same has been withdrawn with liberty to issue a fresh notice. 4 In view of the above submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, nothing survives in the present writ petition for adjudication and hence the same is dismissed. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions stand closed. However the writ petitioners are at liberty to workout their remedy in the manner known to law, if they are aggrieved by a notice to be issued by the respondents. (P.V.,J.)
