3. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 25.09.2026, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that if permission is granted for conducting the "Adal Padal" programme, it may lead to communal rift and law & order problems in the locality. Considering the said submission, this Court suggested that instead of an "Adal Padal" programme, the organizers of the temple festival may reconsider conducting alternative cultural events such as "Gramiya Padal" or “devotional programmes”.

4. The suggestion made by this Court was taken in spirit by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Today, on instructions from the petitioner, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the organizers of the event have decided to forgo the "Adal Padal" programme and instead organize patriotic song performances to spread national values among youth, alongside Gramiya Padal and devotional song events, etc., regarding the temple, except aadal paadal.

5. Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the impugned order dated 16.09.2026 passed by the

7. It is made clear that if there is any violation of this order or if the organizers conduct an "Adal Padal" programme under the guise of this order, the respondent police are at liberty to forthwith stop the programme and initiate appropriate criminal proceedings against the organizers in accordance with law.
