O R D E R
1. Pursuant to the order dated 15.10.2026, Ms. Aishwarya Bhati, learned ASG has produced the relevant files and has also provided a short note disclosing the action taken pursuant to the order of this Court. At the outset, Ms. Bhati submitted that Cadre Review proposals have been received from all constituents of CAPFs and the Cadre Review Committee is seized of the matter. She assures that by 30.11.2026, the Cadre Review Committee shall submit the requisite proposal for approval.
2. The learned counsel representing the Contempt Petitioners have pointed out that besides Cadre Review, this Court’s order dated 23.05.2025 required a progressive reduction on the posts earmarked to be filled by deputation upto the level of Senior Administrative Grade (‘SAG’). It is submitted that to their information instead of progressively reducing the posts earmarked to be filled by deputation upto the level of SAG, the posts filled by deputation have increased since the passing of the judgment and order dated 23.05.2025.
3. On the aforesaid submission, the learned ASG submits that she would have to seek instructions.
4. List on 09.12.2026 at 2:00pm along with all connected writ petitions.
5. By the next date, the learned ASG shall file an affidavit of the concerned officer giving the details of the posts filled by deputation upto the level of SAG in respect of each constituent of CAPFs as on the date of the delivery of judgment and order dated 23.05.2025 and by the next date.
