The Court: The matter has appeared at the instance of the Department.

It appears that pursuant to an order dated 22 December, 2003 passed bya Co-ordinate Bench, a sum of Rs. 17,255/- and Rs. 5,853/- has been kept withthe Registrar, Original Side and the same is lying idle and not earning anyinterest.

Significantly, neither of the parties nor their respective Advocates hadbrought this fact to the attention of this Court.

In such circumstances, the Registrar, Original Side is directed to investthe amount of Rs. 17,255/- and Rs. 5,853/- in any fixed deposit with anynationalized bank and keep the same renewed until further orders of Court.

Let this matter go out of the list.
