3. The rejection is as such that the proposed venue, namely “Arulmigu Sri Manthaiyamman Temple”, Kamatchi Nagar, for conducting the Adal Padal programme, is not suitable. Thereby, this Court suggested the petitioner to choose an alternative place to conduct the said programme.

4. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that they would choose the private land, Door No.184A, Vaigai Vadakarai, Kamatchi Nagar, Thathaneri, Madurai city. Since the police are considering an alternative place, the petitioner may file a fresh representation tomorrow i.e., on 17.09.2026, itself, and the same may be considered by the police.

5. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that, if the petitioner submits a fresh representation by proposing an alternative place, it would be considered and necessary permission and police protection would be granted, subject to payment of costs.
