PRAYER: (S-3) Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertains to the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent herein in Ref.No.17782/N2/2/2025 dated 09.10.2025 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 1st respondent to the transfer the petitioner to any of the suitable sanctioned vacancy within Kanyakumari District and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

The petitioner is working as a Staff Nurse at Government Headquarters Hospital, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram
WP(MD) No. 35498 of 2025 District. She had sought transfer to Kanyakumari District on the ground that her husband was working there at an ESI Hospital as Nursing Officer. However, her request was not considered. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
2. It is now reported that the petitioner’s husband has been transferred to Chennai.
3. In view of this subsequent development, this writ petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation seeking transfer to Chennai on the ground that her spouse is working at Chennai.
