2. The petitioner operates a small-scale fireworks manufacturing unit under the name and style of M/s. Santhosh Fire Works. The petitioner submitted
WP No. 41476 of 2026
an application for the renewal of his license for the period from 01.04.2024 to 31.03.2027; however, the same was rejected. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the 3rd respondent recommending the renewal of the license, the 2nd respondent arbitrarily rejected the application. Consequently, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 18.05.2026 to the 1st respondent. As there has been no response to the said representation, the petitioner has approached this Court.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner’s representation dated 18.05.2026 has not been considered to date, a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 1 month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 15-10-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No KAN
