PRAYER: Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, by directing the first respondent to not to survey the petitioner’s property situated in Patta No. 1437, Survey No.652/2L situated in Gurumoorthi Nayakkanpatti- Village, Aamathoor-Post, Virudhu Nagar-Taluk and District for laying road without due processes of law by considering the representation dated 21.09.2026.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent not to survey the petitioner’s property situated in Patta No. 1437, Survey No.652/2L at Gurumoorthi Nayakkanpatti-Village, Aamathoor-Post, Virudhunagar Taluk and District, for the purpose of laying a road, without following due processes of law, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 21.09.2026.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents on instructions would submit that the apprehension of the petitioner is unfounded, as the land comprised in Patta No.1437 is not being surveyed for the purpose of laying the road.
3. In view of the specific submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, there is no necessity for further adjudication of the matter.
