COMMON JUDGMENT
(Judgment of the Court was delivered by S.M.Subramaniam J.) It is brought to the notice of this Court that the charge memos in respect of the co-delinquents were already set aside by the Division Bench of this Court in a batch of Writ Appeal in W.A.No.1071 of 2022 etc batch, on 21.04.2022. The Deputy Inspector General of Police, filed a SLP in Special Leave to Appeal (C) No (s).15883-15891 of 2022 and the SLP also came to be dismissed on 04.10.2024. Since the co-delinquents were already exonerated from the charges, the similar benefit is to be extended to the respondents herein.
2. In view of the above position, the writ appeals stand dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. (S.M.S.,J.) (K.G.R.,J.) 11-09-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No SLI
