ORDER

Heard Mr.M.Gnanasekar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Thiagarajan, learned counsel for the respondent.

REV.APPL No. 80 of 2026

2. By order dated 18.08.2025, I have disposed of CRP No.3767 of 2025 by issuing a direction to the trial Court to dispose of the suit along with interlocutory application pending, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order after disposing pending interlocutory applications if any.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that voluminous documents will have to be filed and interlocutory applications have been disposed of as directed by this Court and it would not be possible to dispose of the suit, as directed by this Court in the order dated 18.08.2025. He therefore seeks enlargement of time.

4. Per contra, learned counsel for the respondent states that admittedly, the interlocutory applications have been disposed of and trial itself commenced in July 2026 and P.W.1 has entered the witness box and has filed proof affidavit and documents in support of the proof affidavit have to be marked. At that stage, the present revision came to be filed and thereafter, the matter has come to a stand still.

5. In view of the admitted position that the trial has commenced and keeping in mind the earlier directions issued on 18.08.2025, I am inclined to grant time till

REV.APPL No. 80 of 2026 31.01.2027 for the trial Court to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.1083 of 2023 after affording fair opportunity to both sides to lead oral and documentary evidence.

6. The Review Application is disposed of accordingly. No costs. 09.09.2026 sr Index:yes/no Website:yes/No Speaking Order/Non-speaking Order To The Principal District Munsif Court, Puducherry
