2. This Writ petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.7 of 2026 on the file of 2nd respondent to 1st respondent for fair and impartial and effective investigation by considering the petitioner's representation dated on 20.07.2026.

3. The case was pending based on the interim order dated 31.07.2026, whereby the respondent police was given a last chance to arrest the accused and report back on 14.08.2026. The matter was subsequently listed for hearing on 14.08.2026. The reason for not taking further steps was explained, wherein the Inspector of Police submitted that the second respondent, namely the Inspector of Police, Ms.Vimala was transferred to Madurai city and the said post is vacant. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), a further two weeks time was granted to the second respondent police to file a status report. Subsequently, by order dated 01.09.2026, some more time was granted to the second respondent police to come up with the status report.

4. Now, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the second respondent police filed a duly signed status report, which reveals that the investigation was completed in Crime No.7 of 2026 and a final report has been filed before the Special Court under the POCSO Act, Nilakkottai, Dindigul District, and the case was taken on file in S.C.No.117 of 2026 and a Non Bailable Warrant was issued to the accused, where accused become absconding.

5. Since the investigation was completed by the second respondent and final report has been filed before the jurisdictional Special Court, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the Special Judge, POCSO Court, Dindigul District, to supply the entire copy of the case records in S.C.No.117 of 2026 to the Victim/Defacto Complainant in the said case, within a period of fifteen days duly attested by the Chief Ministrial Officer of the Court concerned or issue a certified copy, which will enable the petitioner to workout further remedy.

6. The Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the investigation has not been properly conducted. If it is so, liberty is given to the petitioner to work out further remedy before the Special Court under the POCSO Act. 09.09.2026 Index :Yes/No Internet :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No psa
