CENTRAL ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL BANGALORE Order Sheet Item no.: 2 O.A./258/2026 (BANGALORE) [ KAS TO IAS PROMOTION ] Court No.: 1 No of Adjournment: 5 Order Dated: 26/10/2026 MAJOR SIDDALINGAYYA HIREMATH KAS Vs UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

For Applicant(s) Advocate : Smt. Akkamahadevi Hiremath - through video conference For Respondent(s) Advocate : Shri S.Prakash Shetty for Respondent No. 1, Shri N. Amaresh for Respondent No. 2, AGA Shri Mahantesh Shettar for Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 - through video conference Order of The Tribunal Learned counsel Shri Mahantesh Shettar, AGA representing Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 as well as learned counsel Shri S. Prakash Shetty for Respondent No. 1 again seek time to file the reply statement. It is discernible from the order dated 01.10.2026 that on the request made by the learned counsel appearing for the Respondent Nos. 3 and 4, as a last chance, time was granted to file the reply statement, failing which the respondents right to file shall be closed. Despite the said order, learned counsel appearing for the State Government as well as Central Government again seeking time cannot be appreciated. Relaxing the order dated 01.10.2026, one more opportunity is granted to the respondents to file reply statement subject to costs of Rs. 2000/- each, payable by the Respondent Nos. 3 and 4-State Government and Respondent No. 1-Central Government separately to the Karnataka State Legal Services Authority by two weeks from today. List the matter on 18.11.2026.
