CENTRAL ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL SRINAGAR Order Sheet Item no.: 14 O.A./492/2025 (SRINAGAR) [ EXTEND THE BENEFIT OF SRO59 ] [ SENIOR CITIZEN ] Court No.: 1 No of Adjournment: 8 Order Dated: 26/10/2026 AB RASHID LONE Vs FINANCE DEPARTMENT

For Applicant(s) Advocate : NONE

For Respondent(s) Advocate : MR. SYED MUSAIB, DAG AND MR. FURKAN Y SOFI Order of The Tribunal The applicant has remained unrepresented on the last date of hearing, i.e., 18.08.2026 and even today has also not appeared before this Tribunal. Even the facility of advancing arguments through virtual mode has not been availed of. It is the duty of the petitioner/litigant to be vigilant and pursue his case diligently. He is required to cause his appearance on the due date of hearing. This absence leaves this Tribunal with no option but to presume that the applicant has lost interest in prosecuting the matter. In view of the above, O.A. No. 492/2025 is dismissed for non- prosecution. However, the petitioner is at liberty to revive the petition if the cause still subsists in accordance with law, and subject to just exceptions from the respondents. Accordingly, the T.A., along with all connected M.As., if any, shall stand disposed of. Interim direction(s), if any, shall stand vacated.
