ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. At the time of numbering, the Registry is only carrying out administrative function and not a judicial function. The counsel has to be put on notice and called upon to argue on the maintainability of the suit, justifying the relief sought for. Without doing so, the Court has repeatedly returned the plaint, despite compliances being made by the

CRP No. 5307 of 2026 P.B.BALAJI.,J sr counsel for the plaintiff. In view of the ratio laid down in K. Selvaraj and others vs Koodankulam Nuclear Power Plant Indian Ltd, reported in 2021 4 CTC 539, the Principal District Court, Kallakurichi shall post O.S.SR.No.631 of 2026 in open court and hear the counsel for the plaintiff on the maintainability and thereafter, pass suitable orders, keeping in mind the ratio laid down in K. Selvaraj and others vs Koodankulam Nuclear Power Plant Indian Ltd.
3. The original plaint may be returned to the counsel for the plaintiff within a period of one week from the date of the copy of the order being uploaded in the High Court Website to enable representation within a period of two weeks thereafter.
