O R D E R

The petitioner filed this petition for a direction to the third respondent to conduct enquiry on his complaint dated 05.08.2026 and to complete the same as per the time fixed by this Court.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he is working as a fisherman under one Loghu Sundaram and out of his employment, there is a rift and the said Loghu Sundaram has taken away the two wheeler of the petitioner. The petitioner has lodged a complaint before the third responder. Since there is no action on his complaint, this direction petition is filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), who took notice for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the fourth respondent.

4. The Government Advocate (Crl. side) submitted that the petitioner's complaint has been attended by the third respondent and summon was issued to the petitioner fixing the hearing date on 25.08.2026 and the petitioner did not appear before the respondent police on that day.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given the representation dated 05.08.2026 stating that last month the said rival party torn the fishing net of the petitioner. But there is no action taken by the respondent police. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that since the petitioner was in the sea level, he could not appear before the third respondent police.

6. Recording the above submission, a direction is issued to the third respondent to enquire the petitioner as well as the rival party and take a better decision. The petitioner is directed to appear before the third respondent police once he reaches the land.

7. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. 03.09.2026
