2. Writ petitioner is the appellant. Writ of mandamus has been instituted seeking a direction against the District Collector to consider the representation dated 25.08.2025 for initiation of appropriate action against the respondents 2 and 3 working as Headmaster and Teacher in the Government High School, Ganapathipuram, Ranipet District. The appellant states that on 04.08.2025 the third respondent pushed the son of the appellant who fell down and sustained some injuries. Pertinently, the alleged incident took place on 04.08.2025 and the complaint was given on 21.08.2025, after a lapse of 16 days. Thereafter, a representation to the District Collector was given on 25.08.2025. The Writ Court considered the delay in filing the complaint as well as the representation to the District Collector and dismissed the writ petition.

3. Any such serious incident, if any occurred inside the school premises, it is to be immediately informed to the competent educational authorities concerned enabling them to initiate appropriate action. In the present case, there is an enormous delay in filing the complaint and therefore, there is a possibility of drawing an inference which resulted in dismissal of the writ petition.

4. This Court does not find any reason to interfere with the writ order impugned and consequently, the Writ Appeal stands dismissed. No costs. (S.M.S.,J.) (K.G.R.,J.) Index: Yes/No 31-08-2026 Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No SLI
