ORDER
Heard Mr.Rajarajan, learned counsel for the revision petitioner.
2. Considering the limited relief sought for in this revision petition, I am inclined to dispose of the same. The revision petitioner, aggrieved by the dismissal of the application under I.A.No.8 of 2025 order 21 Rule 9 has __________

CRP No. 5133 of 2026 preferred an appeal in A.S.No.177 of 2025, and the same is pending before the XVIth Additional City Civil Court, Chennai. In the said appeal I.A.No.2 of 2025 has taken out seeking interim stay.
3. However, the grievance of the petitioner is that despite having entered appearance, counter affidavit has not been filed by any of the respondents. The learned Additional Judge is not taking up the stay application and disposing of the same on merits and taking advantage of the same, the respondents are attempting to execute the decree which has caused serious prejudice to the petitioner.
4. In the light of above, I am inclined to direct the XVIth Additional City Civil Court, Chennai, to take up the enquiry in I.A.No.2 of 2025 and dispose of the same within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any of the respondents seek time to file counter affidavit, a weeks time may be granted for such purposes. With these directions, this Criminal Revision Petition is allowed. No cost. Connected MP is closed. 21.08.2026 __________
