A photocopy of affidavit dated 22.10.2026 of Col S Jyotish Kumar has been handed over in Court with the submission that the original is in post and shall be placed on record the moment it is received.

Perusal of the aforementioned documents shows that the case is covered by the latest judgement dated 12.10.2026 of the Hon’ble Supreme Court passed in Miscellaneous Application (@ Diary No. 43523 of 2026) in Civil Appeal No. 6820 of 2018; Union of India Through Its Secretary & Ors Vs. Sgt Girish Kumar & Ors.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the bunch of matters decided in Sgt. Girish Kumar (supra) is being processed by the Ministry of Defence. A short adjournment is required.

Adjourned to 29.01.2027.

Affidavit of Director PS-4 be also filed on the next dated of hearing giving the latest case status. Copy of this order be given dasti to the learned counsel for the respondents on payment of usual charges.
