[Order of the Court was made by the G.ARUL MURUGAN, J.] The writ petition seeks to consider the application of the petitioner for enrolment as an advocate filed on 30.07.2025.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

3. At the out set, the learned Standing Counsel submitted that the application submitted by the petitioner would be considered on its own merits after the Council decides to conduct the meeting.

4. In view of the submissions made, without expressing any opinion on merits, we are inclined to dispose of this writ petition by directing the respondents/Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry to decide the application on its own merits within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
