ORDER
The Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to extend the time granted by this Court in C.R.P.No.4919 of 2025 for filing petition to amend the plaint in O.S.No.4364 of 2024 on the file of XIX Assistant City Civil Court, Chennai.

2. It is seen from the typed set of papers by order dated 07.11.2025, this Court directed the petitioner to file necessary amendment application amending the Court fee column in the plaint and to pay additional Court fee within four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. The petitioner received the order copy on 19.12.2025 and paid the additional Court fee on 07.01.2026. However, the amendment petition has not been filed in time due to inadvertence and the same was filed only on 06.10.2026. Since, the amendment application has not been filed within the time stipulated in the C.R.P. order the petitioner has come up with this petition seeking extension of time.
3. Having satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and the trial Court is directed to number the amendment application and dispose it of in accordance with law. 29-10-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No EP
