Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. I do find any merit in this revision petition warranting any discretionary or extraordinary relief being available to the petitioner under Article 227 of Constitution of India.

3. However, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly brings to my notice that the petitioner would be satisfied if the application filed by the petitioner for condonation of delay in filing the application to set aside the exparte decree is expeditiously decided so that the petitioner will be in a position to meet the execution proceedings accordingly.

4. In the light of the above, while dismissing the civil revision petition, a direction is issued to the Additional Subordinate Judge, Tiruchengode to dispose of I.A.No.1 of 2026 filed for condonation of delay in filing the application to set aside the exparte decree in O.S.No.203 of 2023 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in Paragraph No.4 of the order dated 23.09.2026, direction was issued to Additional Subordinate Judge, Tiruchengode to dispose of I.A.No.1 of 2026 instead of Principal Subordinate Judge, Tiruchengode and therefore prays for necessary correction in the order.

3. In view of the above, paragraph No.4 of the order dated 23.09.2026 shall be read as follows: “4. In the light of the above, while dismissing the civil revision petition, a direction is issued to the Principal Subordinate Judge, Tiruchengode to dispose of I.A.No.1 of 2026 filed for condonation of delay in filing the application to set aside the exparte decree in O.S.No.203 of 2023 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.”
