Sub-Registration Office, Kallakurichi Taluk and District. While the petitioner applied for transfer of patta, the neighbouring landowners, namely, Azarth Beeran and others, allegedly created an unregistered fraudulent release deed and obstructed the petitioner's rights with the help of rowdy elements. They also falsely claimed that a civil suit was pending in respect of the subject property against the petitioner and his vendor, whereas the suit was actually a partition suit between Azarth Beeran and others. Subsequently, the neighbouring landowners obtained a joint patta without establishing their title and deliberately omitted the petitioner's name. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner sent a representation dated 27.10.2025, but no has been taken by the respondents. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a joint patta in his favour.

3. Ms.Saranya Priya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, submitted that if a specific time frame is fixed by this Court, the petitioner’s representation dated 27.10.2025 will be considered and disposed of on its own merits in accordance with law.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2025 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after conducting a proper

enquiry and providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, as well as to the impleaded respondents 4 & 5 and any other interested parties or rival claimants, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner. If there is any dispute relating to the title or inter-se civil rights over the property, the parties are at liberty to approach the competent Civil Court for appropriate relief. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 29.10.2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No vv2 To
