COMMON ORDER

These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the respective representations dated 30.06.2026 and consequently direct the respondents to upload and update the pattas in the computerised/online revenue records in respect of the petitioners’ properties comprised in Survey Nos.9/11, 9/12, 9/13, 9/14 and 9/15, reflecting the same in the respective petitioners’ names.

2. Heard Mr.S.Thiruvengadam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, and Mr.M.Sivavarthanan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that an enquiry was conducted by the 3rd respondent and, since it was found that the patta had been irregularly granted, the petitioners were heard and orders were thereafter passed.

4. Since the petitioners were heard before passing the orders, they are at liberty to prefer a statutory appeal before the concerned District Revenue Officer.
