OBJ/1056820899/26 dated 18.09.2026 issued by the first respondent, quash the same as arbitrary and illegal and consequently direct the first respondent to re-consider the petitioner's application for renewal of passport bearing Passport No. P5457367 and renew the same in accordance with law, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
Challenging order dated 18.09.2026 calling for the disposal order of the criminal case or a permission/NOC from the Trial Court, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.
2. Mr.V.Boomithan, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice for the first respondent. Mr.R.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), accepts notice for the second respondent.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the second respondent submits that a charge sheet was filed in S.C.No.312 of 2025 before the Principal Sessions Court (Mahila Court) at Madurai.
4. In view of the pending criminal case, this Writ Petition is disposed of by granting leave to the petitioner to apply for clearance from the Criminal Court concerned. If an application is filed for such purpose, the Criminal Court is directed to dispose of the same as expeditiously as the
