PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to cancel the birth certificate registered on 03.03.2005 vide Registration No.2005/06/088/50
and consequently rectify the date of birth of the petitioner's son from 02.03.2005
to 02.11.2004 in the light of the Section 15 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act 1969 based on the petitioner's representation dated 15.12.2025
within a stipulated period of time fixed by this Court.
