ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) Writ of mandamus has been instituted directing the 2nd respondent to remove the encroachments made by the respondents 4 and 5, in the lands comprised in survey no.30/3, situate at Alankulam Village, Thiruvennainallur Taluk, Villupuram District, which is classified as Common Road, based on the communication of the 1st respondent to the 2nd respondent dated 14.07.2025 in Oo.Mu.AA.No.5/3543527/25.

2. The counter affidavit filed by the respondent would show that survey was conducted. During the course of survey and verification of documents, authorities found that subject property belongs to 21 patta holders. Since no encroachments are identified and the subject property is a patta land belonging to 21 individuals, the relief as sought for in the present writ petition deserves no further consideration.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that patta has been wrongly granted in favour of the contesting respondents.
