ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the Court bundle is not available and the Registry has reported that the same could not be traced. However, the digitized records from the e-courts database were placed before this Court for perusal.

2. From the records, it is seen that the prayer in the present writ petition is to challenge the proceedings dated 23.01.2009 issued by the respondent and for a consequential relief directing the respondent to fill up the subject post through the Employment Exchange.

3. More than seventeen (17) years have elapsed since the date of filing of this writ petition. In view of the passage of time and the subsequent development of events, the relief sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous and nothing survives for adjudication.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, are closed. 28-10-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No Sni
