ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioners with effect from the date of their appointment.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners though having raised various defence with respect to the regularization, ultimately sought limited relief by requesting this Court to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioners’ representation dated 13.12.2023 seeking regularization.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader, in all fairness, would submit that if reasonable time is granted, the second respondent would consider the petitioners’ representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.

4. In such view of the above submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioners’ representation dated 13.12.2023 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
