O R D E R
Heard Mr.T.Arul, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Yogaraja Sekar, learned counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Crl.Side) for respondents 1 and 2.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.S.Yogaraja Sekar states that, on an enquiry, the police had come to a conclusion that there was no threat perception to the petitioner to afford police protection.
3. Whether the police protection should be granted or not entirely depends on the assessment of the Executive. There are certain matters which are not judicially reviewable, and the grant of police protection is one such. As the police have come to a conclusion that the petitioner does not face any threat perception from the alleged encroachers, I find no merit to interfere. This Writ Petition is dismissed. 28-10-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Neutral Citation: Yes/No ms
