ORDER
After applying for a passport on 20.04.2026 under File No. TR1066699701226, the petitioner seeks directions to process the application.
2. Mr.G.Ramanathan, learned Central Government Standing Counsel, accepts notice for the first respondent. Mr.R.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), accepts notice for the second respondent.
3. On instructions, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the second respondent submits that no charge sheet was filed pursuant to Crime No.80 of 2023 on the file of the second respondent.
4. Considering the fact that no charge sheet was filed, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner’s application within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
