116/EW3/2025 dated 05.03.2025 and consequent order passed by 2nd respondent in 1197/Po.1/2025 dated 06.03.2025 and quash the same and further direct the respondents to restore the petitioner as Grade I Warder at Madurai Central Prison.

ORDER
The petitioner Grade- I Warder, Madurai Central Prison, has been transferred to Vellore by the impugned order. The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenged the transfer order on the ground that he is care taker of an intellectually disabled child.
2. This court has entertained this writ petition and granted an order of interim stay on 11.03.2025.
3. When this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the case of the petitioner has been considered and he has been transferred to Sub-Jail, Thirumangalam by order dated 26.10.2026.
4. In view of the subsequent development, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the petitioner to join in the transferred place in time. No costs.
