ORDER
This civil revision petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India challenging the docket order dated 15.07.2026 made in R.L.T.O.P.No.5 of 2024 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Madhavaram.
2. Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned counsel for respondent and carefully perused the materials available on record. This Court also went through the impugned order.
3. The main grievance expressed by learned counsel for petitioner is that the petitioner is the landlord and the RLTOP was filed in the year 2024 and even though the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants Act, 2017, contemplates summary enquiry, the matter is being adjourned on one ground or the other for the last two years and there has been absolutely no progress. It is under these circumstances, the present revision has been filed.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance expressed by the petitioners, there shall be a direction to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Madhavaram, to dispose of
R.L.T.O.P.No.5 of 2024 within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and file a report before this Court. This civil revision petition is disposed of with the above direction.
