ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by G.Jayachandran J.) This appeal is filed by the State, aggrieved by the order passed by the Learned Single Judge in allowing the writ petition filed for the issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus to quash the proceedings dated 17.9.2020 pertaining to the stoppage of salary paid on par with the junior to the writ petitioner. The proceedings to stop the higher payment of salary was issued pursuant to audit objection. However, the Learned Single Judge found that there cannot be disparity among the petitioner and her junior, namely Manimekalai, and therefore allowed the writ petition.

2. The intra-court appeal filed challenging the order has no legs to stand in view of the subsequent withdrawal of the audit objection.

3. The Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the appellants has circulated the communication of the District Educational Officer (DEO), informing the withdrawal of the audit objection regarding the pay parity granted to the petitioner and, therefore, we find no reason to entertain this appeal.
