ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide the back wages and retirement benefits to the petitioner. __________

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that when the petitioner filed the present writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to provide the back wages and retirement benefits, the respondent has rejected such a request vide order dated 26.01.2024 and the said order is under challenge before this Court in W.P.No.15100 of 2024.
3. In such view of the subsequent development, this Court is of the view that there is no purpose in adjudicating the present writ petition.
4. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is granted liberty to raise all the defences raised in the present petition in the connected writ petition in W.P.No.15100 of 2024.
