This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records relating to impugned order dated 11.09.2024 in Letter No.Ni.A.5/8713/2022 on the file of the 1st Respondent, quash the same and direct the Respondents 1 and 2 to issue No Objection Certificate in respect of land to an extent of 0.54 Acre in New S.F.Nos.848/6 and 848/1C2 (Old S.F.Nos.848/1B and 848/1C) of Kalapatti Village, Coimbatore North Taluk, Coimbatore District to enable the Petitioner to develop his land.

ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal
2. The relief sought in this Writ Petition is to quash the Order dated 11.09.2024 in Letter No.Ni.A.5/8713/2022 passed by the 1st Respondent and direct the Respondents 1 & 2 to issue No Objection Certificate in respect of the land measuring an extent of 54 Cents comprised in New S.F.Nos.848/6 and 848/1C2 (Old S.F.Nos.848/1B and 848/1C) of Kalapatti Village, Coimbatore North Taluk, Coimbatore District (hereinafter referred to as “subject land”) to enable the Petitioner to develop the subject land.

The learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that though the Petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for the aforesaid relief, now he has confined the relief and prays this Court to issue appropriate direction to the Respondents 1 & 2 to consider his Representation dated 07.01.2026 for issuance of No Objection Certificate in respect of the subject land and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the Respondents 1 & 2 would consider the Petitioner’s Representation dated 07.01.2026 and pass appropriate orders on the same, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. The above submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the Respondents 1 & 2 has been fairly conceded by the learned counsel for the Petitioner.
6. Considering the limited relief sought by the Petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the Respondents 1 & 2 to consider the Petitioner’s Representation dated 07.01.2026 and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of uploading of the web copy of this order without waiting for the receipt of a certified copy of this order.
