ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 10.10.2024, seeking measurement and verification of the properties, fixation of boundary stones and issuance of patta in respect of the properties situated at Panikankuppam Village, Panruti Taluk, Cuddalore District.

2. The petitioner claims ownership of the subject properties under two settlement deeds executed by his father in the years 2013, registered as Document Nos.2242 of 2013 and 3215 of 2013. The petitioner states that, despite submitting several applications, including the representation dated 10.10.2024, the second respondent has neither measured the properties nor fixed the boundary stones or taken steps to issue patta. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, despite repeated requests and the submission of relevant documents, the respondents have failed to measure the properties and consider the petitioner's request for issuance of patta. Therefore, a direction may be issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders.

6. The grievance of the petitioner is that his request for measurement of the properties, fixation of boundary stones and issuance of patta has not been considered by the respondents. However, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the petitioner has not filed an online application for the said purpose.

7. In view of the above submission, the petitioner is directed to submit an online application before the competent authority, in accordance with the prescribed procedure, along with the relevant documents.
